Ancient culture, legendary
antiquity, middle age, orient, cosmic age – distant places and
periods, which are linked by an imaginary and mystical atmosphere.
It is from this the Cormallen group draws inspiration for its
creations. The themes of some of the compositions are initially
originals from the 11th – 16th Centuries. Most of the music works
are new. The group uses the musical heritage of past periods as well
as the most modern tendencies. The works are closer to those from
the middle age and renaissance as well as the music of the new age.
The group plays on classical instruments – flutes, string
instruments, percussion instruments of all types, guitars or
mandoline and background music as per synthesizer
possibilities. |
Uralte Kulturen, sagenhafte
Zeiten des Altertums, Mittelalters, des Orient, das
Weltalljahrhundert – entfernte Orte und Zeiten, die jedoch durch
mystische Traumatmosphare verbunden sind. Davon schopft die Gruppe
Cormallen ihre Inspiration. Die Themen von einigen Kompositionen

jedoch neu. Stilistich wird das Musikvermachtnisvergangener Zaiten
als auch die modernsten Tendenzen ausgenutzt. Die Gruppe neigt zur
mittelalterlichen und Renaissanceschopfung und zur Musig New age.
Sie benutzt die klassischen Instrumente – Floten,
Streichinstrumente, Schlagzeuge aller Art, Gitarre oder Mandoline
und zur Tonuntermalung auch je nach Moglichkeit
